Not too bad a day, some sun. Just finished skinning and jointing a muntjac deer given to me by a friend.
Tomorrow it will be fillet medallions lightly fried in butter with a Roquefort sauce.
Want an easy recipe for the sauce?
Fry the steak in a dab of butter, then when it is almost ready, pour cream over the steak and add a few lumps of Roquefort. stir untill smooth and serve.
Pure gastric pornography!

Same ol', same ol' I guess.
When people complain about cloudy, grey skies, I tell them they should appreciate the fact that they are getting summer weather in the winter too!
Hell, I reckon we get more sunny days in the first 4 months of the year, than the middle 4!

Hiya SD - its been really weird weather today aswell - we have had all the seasons in one day - woke up and it was persisting it down - stopped so went for a walk round Watergrove Res and it was windy but sunny and when you got out of wind it was really warm - since we come back we have had hail, rain and sleet - now the sun is out again

You think I will go out in that crap?
Mind you, if it is still there next week, I have to work, so that means dodging the rain.
I cannot understand how anyone can enjoy 'walking in the rain'.
