Actually I was just being neighbourly!
I offered the owner of a Swiss plated Alfa 147 GT the use of my garage for free this morning as he would get a ticket as he doesn't have a resident parking permit.
Got talking and once his insurance pays out going to supply him with a RHD car
Ironic thing was not an hour before I was outside thinking that's a mighty pretty car
now it's a squashed mess!

I actually don't know once my garage warmed up (the blower is on out there) I'm going to start to strip it down and see what the true extent of the damage is.
It will all depend on the size of the inner wing on the 147 as if it goes down the entire length of the front of the car then it's going to be a write off.
If it's like the new Mini etc where the inner wing is tiny then it is probably worth repairing as there is no other chassis damage. It was hit on the front right corner, then whatever hit it rebounded off and trashed 3 other cars.
He's currently at work (City Trader) and is franticly trying to find out if his Swiss insurance is going to cover the cost as it would seem the person who hit him may not be insured!!
I'll let ya know if he wants to flog it, but if my report says there is chassis damage the insurance company will want it auctioned off back in Switzerland most likely.
Also has suspension damage front and rear (rear being because it was pushed back into the kerb when hit)

Cold and grey today about 16 degrees. Said it was going to change today so was prepared for it, i miss the sunshine and got friends out tomorrow. I'll blame them for the weather.

So that's where our weather has gone, it became very windy around 5ish last night, even had to move the terrace furniture out of the wind it was so fierce. Nothing today though, bit overcast but warm. Keep the wind, Crispys got the rain, I'll keep the sun thankyou

I think I've worn my coat twice since we came over a year ago. Hope it still fits

By the way - it will be the end of July so the meet will have to be in August, it's GOT to be warm by then. Bet I'm the only one with a tan
