I have no idea of how much truth there may be in this.... but the chattering folk say some of the 'stalls' at Fuengirola rastro contain the spoils from burglaries... ???

I think a lot of the advice you have been given is realistic and well-meaning but you seem to have lots of drive and enthusiasm and that could separate you from the rest.
I know plenty of people very happily making a living in Spain and they would NOT want to move back..so living the dream is possible...but very hard nevertheless!
