They could turn to Santander UK I suppose, seeing how they're not normally too fussed about breaking a few regulations.

No problem as the ECB will be printing euro's like there is no tomorrow in the near future & what a few billion nowadays ?

IMO the UK should simply sell the bloody place back to the Spanish as it would fetch a tidy few billions.

Yes, but the Gibraltarians don't want anything to do with Spain, I think they voted around 98% against on the last vote. I think it it was reversed, 98% wanted to belong to Spain, then we could seriously think about swapping it for Menorca! Not even sure what Spain would do with it even if they had it.

Probably blow the rock up, level it all out and sell it off as a prime building site come the next housing boom.

Just think of all the backhanders and black money that could bring in.

When Great Britain was dominated by savages, Hispania had large orchards and great forgers of weapons, and many men of science like Seneca born in Hispania, and also some Caesars, like Hadrian, which had built the wall of the north of Great Britain. But now you arrive, and you says that if we do not live in caves, is for the muslims. What I have to read...

It's the same stupidity that when some Muslims claim that Sevilla is muslim, when Sevilla is the ancient Hispalis, a city that already existed many centuries before the arrival of Muslims

Which is the next foolishness I have to read?

The finest examples of wrought gold and silver came from Britain, the Britons were mining tin and making Bronze well before anyone else in Europe, thats why so many countries wanted to invade, to get the now exhausted gold mines. That all said, why the hell are you still comparing oranges and lemons? We did stuff, you did stuff, we found stuff, you found stuff, we had an Empire, you murdered tens of millions of Amerindians in South America, still not sure what point you are trying to make.

These people is British while is a tax haven. If Gibraltar back to Spain, and Spain be granted tax haven to Gibraltar, the people of Gibraltar would be considered the most Spanish of the world. As I said, is not a question of nationality, is of economic status

The point he is trying to make is that Spain did not have a moorish inheritance:lol:

Yes, except that in Spain we were doing jewelry and weapons. Ah, you speak of murder in the Spanish Empire, when you are the champions of the racial segregation? Which continued after with the European settlers in countries as U.S., where nearly exterminated all the indigenous population, and little indigenous population that survived, ended in reserves. And what happens in Australia, with the aborigines? Do you know to Fray Bartolome de las Casas, who denounced any persecution or torture to the natives? Did you know that Queen Isabella I of Castile (known as Isabella the Catholic) issued edicts to protect the natives, and become her subjects? I doubt you know it, because I doubt that there have been other countries (including yours) with the exception of Spain, to protect the natives with people like the queen Isabel I or fray Bartolomé. The best example is that an Indian in South America today is named Antonio Fernandez is a lawyer, while in north america is named Sitting Bull and lives on a reservation

Is the same nonsense when you speak of the inquisition, when the inquisition is not originally from Spain. However, always you obviate the massacres of the anglo-saxon puritanism

If Gib is a "tax haven" then what about the Spanish Free Ports of...
Barcelona
Cadiz
Vigo
Las Palmas de Gran Canaria

and the special treatment and tax haven rights in those areas

The problem is that isnt yours.

There you go with the comparison Renalpenalpago, why? Are you so insecure with your identity that you have to always compare? No one judges Spain for the millions of Amerindians you murdered, not one of us, nor of the tens of thousands of Jews and Muslims, no one judges, we have moved on, we are in a better place now.

Millions of Indians? This means that the Spanish have killed more Indians than in the two World Wars, right?

You are the best, my rugby

you murdered 150,000 in Tenochtitlan alone, 90% of the Inca population was killed within a couple of years. 80% of the estimated 30 million Amerindians alive in 1492 were killed by war, massacre and disease by the 1700's. That was Spain..... but like I said, no one is judging you.
