As I understand a bang of any sort, it's pretty chaotic.
Yet the earth is positioned exactly where it should be.
The chances of a big bang getting it right would have to be left to chance.
Pretty dodgy I reckon. Half a million miles out or a couple of degrees either way of the tilt & we wouldn't exist.
Why, even Genesis makes more sense, apart from to people like Richard Dawkins.

How do you know its exactly where it should be??? Out of all the planets is it the only one thats exactly where it should be?? So if God had anything to do with it, his aim wasnt that good - or did he only want humans on just the one planet?? How did he know?? and where was God at the time of all of this??? Sorry, I am really interested in how you can make this work in reality??

The best book I've read on the seasons is one by Anthony Smith, called "The Seasons". It's old, but still relevant. And he's a scientist with little interest in 'religion'.

It's exactly where it should be because any nearer or further from the sun than its 92,000,000 miles, give or take a few, would result in either freezing cold or boiling hot. Death to us. And the tilt gives us the seasons.

Actually, the village is split! The "foreigners" who immigrated from southern Spain years ago support Real.
The Basques tend to support Barça simply because they hate Madrid & prefer separatists such as Catalans!
So you go to the appropriate bar.

Is it that important though?
The bible after all is not a scientific treatise; more an explanation of how God works.

Being in America, perhaps you could enlighten me as to why on earth NASA are spending so much money on going to Mars. What on earth for? Interest?
