Re: opinions please??
It is all very confusing a bit like a Little Britain type of situation.
I am very touchy about these things because when I lived in the UK I was somtimes called JOSIE LOUISE when some folks had to read my name out, much to the amusement of the general public.

Thank you for the suggestion, I am sure that you meant well, but I dont think I will follow your advice on this occasion.
I have a feeling that if I put MALE MEMBER, the word member could be taken to mean todger, instead of "participant"..
I really dont think that it would be suitable on a public forum...............

Well Lushdaddy, you have deleted your post too late, as I have already quoted you...........
I dont know why you deleted it, I think it is very witty.

True, altho very often its the predicted income that the initial investment will make thats used. If it looks like a good investment in the medium/long term or whatever then the banks will invest. Altho the credit crunch has burnt the banks a tad (lol), they are beginning to try again!!???????????
I'm not having a lot of luck finding any job vacancies - I found one in Spanish obviously! From what I can see there is no mention of serious academic qualifications????????

Re: opinions please??
It does make me dubious - I can sort of see both sides - if you've invested you might work harder to make it a success - but in all honesty where would most teachers get that sort of money in any case?
it's clearly a fee-paying school of some description- whether it's concertado or totally private is unclear
if it's totally private I guess they can employ anyone they like - I know of at least one head teacher in a private school here who has no teaching quals - & neither do some of the teaching staff
just the fact that it's new would be enough to make me think twice - until it's more established
I've seen more than one school close down around here

There are fees. 450€ ish a term, 10% discount for siblings and an even bigger discount if the childs parents work in the Technology Park! I dont think that includes the offspring of the "ladies" that stand by the entrance in fish net stockings tho, so I'll give up on that idea!!!!!!!!!

Re: opinions please??
Hmm, so 450 per term, and they're looking, they say, for 500 students. Over three terms that's 675000€. Divided between their 25 teachers that's 27000 per year - assuming no other outgoings.
Of course there's no loan to pay off on the building because the 25 teachers have that covered between them.
