I suggest that you cancel your subscription then!
AVG covers your e-mail, the free Zone Alarm is a perfectly good firewall, and Spybot and Ad-Aware will cover the rest, all for nothing!

Hi Tim, thanks for the info,I downloaded that OK,its already doing its job,blocked 78 issues already and 8 of them high rate, and its free

I'm aware of what I've got Tim in relation to over coverage, and it suits me fine as I've not had problems and thats the main thing

It can't hurt to have Zone Alarm!

Out of interest as i have no cover now on my pc coming on the internet while im waiting for it all to download will that mess my laptop up xxx

If AVG has finished downloading, set that up first and update it, then worry about the others!

Thats why origianlly I told you to download AVG before you removed Norton, as then you could install AVG fairly quickly once you had removed Norton.

It won't mess things up, you just don't have protection at the moment so install as soon as you can.

she has a point, you ought to close as much down as poss to conserve your resources .... being on here cuts your download speed down

Just to let you know it downloaded and ive updated it. I dont know why it took so long to be honest i dont even know which one i downloaded on the avg but looks ok

Im going to download the others now xxx
