I'm not sure what your point is. This could be a small town in any part of the world. The houses look fine to me

From a Spanish news-site today:

Looks pretty rational to me. I'm not saying it was justified, of course, but I don't think it was motivated by religion. Like most wars, religion is just a façade used to cover up a deeper hatred. It was an attack on wealth, just like the Russian and French revolutions were.[/QUOTE]
What a load of rubbish!

Well if its an attack on wealth why are'nt there bombs going off in Saudi Arabia and all the other rich Gulf states.
Who do you think bankrolls the US deficit??

I assume you were trying to quote me?

There are lots of bombs going off in Saudi etc.
Terrorism in Saudi Arabia is unleashed by radical Islamic fighters. Their targets include foreign civilians—mainly Westerners affiliated with its oil-based economy—as well as Saudi civilians and security forces. Anti-Western attacks have occurred in Saudi Arabia dating back to 1995.

as the Gulf States are sponsoring terrorism why would they allow it to interfere with their way of life - where the ruling 5% have absolute power over the other 95% who to a greater extent live in poverty.
