It will be quicker to go on line on one of the local stores and suppliers and get the prices from there.
Yes, you do have a point there, jdr. Reptonian, have a look here: http://www.paginasamarillas.es/hogar...e_353_800.html |

The point is that despite endless pleas, cajoling and downright threatening (!!!!), the people who use this THREAD have always tried to use it as a FORUM. On a forum, as I'm sure you well know, there are numerous threads listed by precise topic. Within the Esuri thread, this is impossible as it is NOT a forum. So, when a question lie yours comes up, it is very difficult to find previous advice given quickly. Had these Esuro posters realised that this is in fact a wide ranging forum the would have started threads on different subjects individually instead of lumping them all here meaning that you - or more importantly a new visitor - seeking specific information could find it quickly.
But hey ho! You can take a horse to water...... Am I the only one who thinks it's an achievement (of some sort) that the thread has unravelled to this length (several times over?) Yes, there have been diversions or "highjackings" (some comical, others not so), but the thread then carries on growing longer and longer. I'd guess it is more this last point that really annoys some folk?:p Anyhow, is it really a BIG DEAL? If the mods pull the plug, then so be it. Get your knitting needles out, and a new thread soon will start. Carol |

How do you get to the actual posts?
Well, when you get to the different threads part (having "searched this forum"), you'll have to decide which one to try first (the most recent, IMO). Open the thread, then click on the "search this thread" option with key words "air con", or "white goods" and it should list the specific posts. You'll then need to trawl your way through as many posts have these words in them (so, make your key word search brief - you know already that you are the CE thread). Hope it helps, Carol |

Hi
Can anybody recommend a good hotel in Seville where we can spend a weekend please? Looking for somewhere thats inexpensive, with parking but clean and quiet and where we can walk around the city's best bits from the hotel without taking the car. Thanks in advance Jon |

Thanks in advance Jon Have a look at Seville in my images, I think theres a picture of the square outside the hotel http://www.booking.com/hotels/hotel/...out=2009-04-18 Beware though, parking is difficult and expensive, about €16 a day iirc. There are some bad reports of the breakfast on the booking site. Frankly, where we were we didnt even bother with breakfast as it was better to wander into the centre. The staff were very friendly and polite and the place was spotlessly clean. There is a gate and a buzzer on the door for late night returns, so it is also secure unlike some I saw where there was no security |

Thanks in advance Jon We always stay at the Regina just back from the river and in an old part of town nearest to everything except the footie stadia. Its a three star but you can find really good offers if you trawl a few booking sites. It has an underground car park and you can walk to the Cathedral and Plaza Mayor in about 10-15 mins. Its on Calle San Vincente and has a super internal tiled courtyard with fountain which they cover at roof level with sails when it is really hot. |

Thanks in advance Jon Use http://www.sevilla5.com/ - wonderful local hotels, hostels and apartments. Stayed in one of the apartments in the Barrio de Santa Cruz right in the heart of things last year - wonderful apartment and very reasonable as are all of the places on offer. Lots of info about the city also. Carol |
Re: COSTA ESURI - AYAMONTE
Just browsing through my "Spain tips and hints" file and found the one below copied from the CE thread, re mossies. Whoever posted it, did it work??
Regarding the mossies we are going to try the PestXit Duo which sends an ultrasonic signal though all the appartment electrical wiring and is supposed to send wave vibrations (undetectable by humans) through the wall directly to where the pests and larvae nest. They cost about £50 and cover a build area of up to 5000 sq. ft. so one should be enough. You can find the suppliers by searching pestxit on google. http://www.pestxit.com/mozzie.html Cheers Andy |

Jon Last year we stayed at the Hotel Montecarlo, Gravina 49-51. www.hotelmontecarlosevilla.com Just been refurbished; reasonable cost and very near all sights. Has an underground car park accessed via a lift; but only really suitable for small cars. Better to leave car in the big carpark near the bus station and walk to and fro. Steve and Pat |
