Does anyone know if it is still possible to get a PDF version of the Oracle as I have not seen one for a while now. Maybe Fortaleza took that bit with him...?
Where is Fortaleza, where is Betris, in fact where is everybody lately..!! |

No 2007, but you can't prove until you ask Endesa to make the meter connection and put you on supply we are just about to do that for all services except gas. There is a concrete block that has your boundary marked on in red felt tip and a box in it around that in the ground you will find various small manholes for water, gas and telephone. I thought that box was for electric but it has not been used at all by my builder he has put new boxes in the wall for some connections and other are still in the verge/footpath.
We are not going to connect to gas since the only thing we would want would be a gas hob and I dont want to pay a standing charge just for that. We will heat water by Solar Panel (a statutory requirement now) and top up with overnight cheap electricity if necessary. You can see the various boxes in the attachment. the solar panels are a legal requirement from when? Ray |

Re: COSTA ESURI - AYAMONTE
just got back from esuri after our 3rd new year there and for the 1st time i found the development to have taken a serious step backwards and at a point were it might not achieve its goal in the forseeable future if you take a tour round the site from were you enter at the commercial centre and look at the sea and sun development and hotel they have virtually stood still for 12 months you then look at the 2 albatross developments which seem to be locked up with no life around anywere move on to the rago 1 development and the new townhouses and it is the same story with very little life around. i cant believe that 6 months after the generator fire the perimeter walls are still smoke damaged and the large advertising sign is still half hanging off the wall moving on to johns villa which is a beautifuly constructed building but his will be the only one finished before any of the other plots around that stretch have even started and who is to say they will get developed. we then move to the shop at the townhouses this has now been shut since the start of december which begs the question if the isnt the clientelle to keep 1 small shop open what chance do we have of sustaining a few bars and restaraunts.
moving over to the other side of the golfcourse is the small ayad development of 18 villas i actually thought that would be finished 2 years ago but again the is just a load of unsightly unfinished properties i actually got told there were 2 houses that were occuppied how they get to them across all the rubble i dont know 3 houses got built over that side by a new developer as show houses they were built to a good standard quite quickly then a fence was put round them locked up and now the gardens are unsightly and full of weeds and so the list goes on a tale of 1/2 finished developments scattered around the site my point of this message is that i now feel that we are not allowed to have any information or to have any bearings on how the site is getting developed surely it is time to stop all new developments untill all the existing have been completed we need a central point of contact were we can find out when or if the next stage will be started i think the mayor has a lot to answer for when he says a dutch company has bought the hotel and the shopping centre just the name of the company would of sufficed also his promise for a1000 mooring marina was very brash in todays climate who is going to stump up the money to build it. sorry for the rant but i just feel that if we dont get someone in place to help fight our causes the whole development could collapse and with it all our dreams and hard earned money. |

I understand your concerns but don't think that the hotel and commercial centre will remain empty - when I bought the situation in Isla Canela was similar. The market is not good but will recover. As for promises re the marina etc. let's wait and see, if they ever materialise they can only add to a fantastic place Here's to being positive in the New Year  |

Lomas2........
Being a resident here I find your words hurtful and not to be correct! I have lived on Lomas for 2 and a half years and can inform you that all the residents I know are nice good people. I am sure the inter community president would also be very hurt in reading this especially as he does a damn good job and has all our best interests at heart including yours! Anyone can listen to malicious gossip and obviously you have listened to it. I suggest you get the truth before you make things worse by putting it on this forum! |

Thanks for this - but why were we never informed of any of this? It appeared to have happened very quickly.
The euro and the pound is almost equal now, and I am getting slightly worried about the situation. With the mortgage increased in pounds due to the rate, any extra charges really count now. It appears that Steve Tipper is very well informed. I wish that he was our president! I have written to both our president and our intercommunity president, but have never received any reply. Does anybody know who will actually be in charge of this? Will it be AEA? Or ADA? If so, it is bound to be very expensive. We appear to be paying a lot more than people administered by other companies. I have been to the ADA office many times, but I get a distinct feeling of being fobbed of every time. Really worried - would actually sell if the market wasn't so bad. snip Well anyone who rents their house out to a dog should have expected problems. His references could not have been Bona Fido obviously. |
Re: COSTA ESURI - AYAMONTE
I have emailed the Letter to you.
The reason I did not post it was because it was circulated to about 40 people on Rago 1 and I did not want to divulge peoples email addresses without their permission. |

Had the unfortunate opportunity of reading your post before it was edited by JDR. It was because of negative, malicious minority like you that I stopped visiting this site for a period. I know the people you were talking about and they are very hard working individuals. In particular the President who in my mind only has the interests of the community at heart and a times carries out a thankless task when confronted by comments such as yours. Get a life. Ned |

And thanks for the negativity - whilst things are far from perfect we are moving in the right direction. Let's not lose focus that we own homes in a fantastic area of Spain. The climate and golf are fantastic and for those not intersted in golf the surrounding are offers so much. Whilst I'd love some more local bars an restaurants we still have Ayamonte and RVDSA.
