Wow...slow down. Where is this all coming from about ADA. Your comments suggest they were implicated in arranging this meeting and had a say so in who attended.....this does not at all correspond with the details I have been provided with.

In our case I think the information should be available from our administrators. Faster to do a google search, yes we can :) |

You are allowed to voice your comments, so why not someone else. In YOUR opinion and in YOUR “mind†'the President' “only has the interests of the community at heartâ€. Well, that is YOUR opinion and is NOT the opinion of many others. So, if YOU are allowed to state your comments, equally the opinions and views of OTHERS are as valid. And furthermore, there are many neighbours as well as other presidents who are carrying out thankless tasks and are being confronted by a lot more than “comments†such as seen on here. Al By your response I can see you have very strong feelings about this, I would like to know what motivates you in such a way. I will not be drawn into an argument regarding these issues other than saying I believe all the Presidents do this thankless task. The post that initiated my response was a personal attack. You must also be aware that all the representatives are DEMOCRATICALLY ELECTED. I really feel that as residents we should stand together, not bicker like children. Some, in my opinion, have motives which are not in the interests of the community at large. If we continue to fight amongst each other the only losers are ourselves. As an aside, regarding the meeting on 31/12, I believe some of the posts are confused with a meeting that was held a few weeks ago which was by invitation only and not connected with the 31/12 meeting. End of subject as far as I am concerned. Ned |

Re: COSTA ESURI - AYAMONTE
Hi,
There is alot that I do not know about, and more on which I can not possibly speculate. However, I can wish for a community that is not alienated by a local population that may feel disgruntled by the presense of "incomers" (nationals or foreigners, permanent or non-permanent) - especially if community (ie. town) taxes are not paid by all. The poorest and most needy in a community must be seen to, provided for firstly, before further monies from a ever emptying community pot can be spent on a new "luxury" development. That's the way I see it anyhow. The 6 million euro bond. So, does this means that Fadesa are trading? It would be a sight for sore eyes to see the commercial centre open and the hotel open, bringing with them employment opportunities and visitors. Returning visitors. |

My best guess would be that the administration will want to sell assets as quickly as possible so if buyers can be found the Hotel and Shopping could be completed by others but I doubt that MF will commit further expenditure on them. |
Re: COSTA ESURI - AYAMONTE
I would just like to say that despite all these ongoing concerns and problems, we personally have no regrets about buying on CE. Pretty much most of the world is experiencing a downturn at the moment and it's the middle of winter so a lot of the development will be quiet.
CE and Ayamonte are in a lovely part of Spain. I'm sitting here in the damp, dark, cold UK, looking at photos scattered around my office of my family in the sun, on the beach, having fun and enjoying themselves. You can't put a price on that. The thought of our next trip out there, especially in the summer, keeps me going on dull days such as this. I agree with the risks concerned with renting out but, as has been pointed out, that goes with the territory. We also own an apartment in Egypt and rent that out from time to time so know the potential probems; it's something you have to be prepared for. We only rent Spain out to family and friends as it's more like a second home to us and they've all loved it there too. I fully agree with everyone's concerns about the extra costs and the general way things are at the moment, but we have to remain positive and remember why we bought there in the first place. In the long term it should be super and we WILL get there in the end! Here's to a healthy and happy new year to you all! :) |
Re: COSTA ESURI - AYAMONTE
The hotel and at least part of the Commercial centre have been sold.
I read this a month or more ago. This has come from the Mayor. The plans have been passed for the Marina as well. |

Here's to a healthy and happy new year to you all! :) I spent most of yesterday updating my website with pictures from this Summer, Autumn, and the New Years Eve Bash at the Golf Club. There are not too many pictures showing developments this time (as there haven't been many ! ), but I only had to look back to the photos from a couple of years ago to see how much Costa Esuri has come on, and I know it will again, once the present difficulties are sorted out. I have put up some photos of the new East Golf Course (Autumn). I hope I have got the holes right, as I have only played it once so far. Perhaps if anyone notices errors, they could PM me with corrections. Happy New Year ! |
