COSTA ESURI - AYAMONTE
#4531
Just returned from Costa Esuri, the weather was fantastic. I just wanted to say publicly that Liz and Denny did a fantastic job delivering furniture from IKEA. I got their details from this forum. They did the shopping and helped with assembly, all with a smile and at a very reasonable price. I went to IKEA myself later in the week and could not get out fast enough! Thanks Liz and Denny.
If anyone has information on local gestoria that they recommend and would like to share, can you please PM me with their details.

Welcome the the forum Stephen, I am sure if other members can recommend a good solicitor they will point you in the right direction. Just make sure the after completion stuff is covered as well!! From what I have seen previously on here, Gloria is definitely one that get good votes. Good Luck...

Like all business in southern Spain and Portugal it doesn't go quite as quickly or in the same way as in northern Europe.
We have no reason to not recommend them.

Friendly and efficient when you visit them in person, in my experience, and we got there in the end, even though were only given our deeds (Copia Simple) 15 months after completion. But I have yet to find out how you get them to reply to e-mails, or deal with instructions given by e-mail. Telephone calls better, personal visit best.

There is always a danger in not having the deeds but for a new property and depending on the backlog at the Land Registry 2-3 months is normal.

The Nota Simple comes from the Land Registry, and as you say anyone can get their hands on it for a small amount of money. www.registradores.org is the website where you can download it.
The Copia Simple is an abbreviated version of the deeds (escritura).
