I think he is going to be a breath of fresh air - not because he is mixed race - but because he comes from a younger generation more in touch with reality. Also he inspired millions extra to vote ... and sometimes WAIT 4-5 hours to do so. How many Brits would do that? Also he got the financing sussed using new technology and a great strategy to get the dosh. Its new generation vs old, and I agree colour has nothing to do with that. Hes also got a great team eg Buffett to help him out. So I have confidence that he has the experience with his team to give a really good shot at stopping this recession from becoming a depression. However, I think it is fair to mention the fact that he is the first A-A president in history, and that for the civil rights movement is a huge victory and relief. I also hear he may be thinking of buying a townhouse on Rago 1 as the gardens are big enough for a puppy (just to bring it back to the forum subject) :) |

Rumour had it they had all been sold to one company (German) but I doubt that is true. I suppose that like all other development sites at CE they were held back for want of permanent water and electricity connections but that is no longer a problem so it must fall to the administrator to decide when to release them for sale and he would want to get rid of all the odd ones before he opens these for sale.
This limits the possibility of buyers to "pick and choose" what they want and assisits in ensuring all sites are sold on earlier developments. In fact each estate was released in blocks for this reason. The administrator will act in the same fashion, as potential buyer(s) for the whole Esuri development would want the same provision. If the Rago 5 or any other estate was sold to one company outside of the Esuri development it would most certainly dilute/lose interest of major buyers or consortia for project as a whole. Even when administration has completed, it may be the case that outstanding sales in Rago 1 will be completed before Rago 5 are released. Utility connections will not be the issue here as most of previous Rago were sold prior to such undertakings. Regards to all. Brizey P.S. Has anyone read the latest newsletter from ADA on Las Encinas? Interesting item about legal action relating to roads maintenance / repairs. |

I don't think the whole development is for sale Fadesa had completed all of the infrastructure and the council agreed to adopt it at the onset of the crisis. What Fadesa have to sell are individual units in RAV and RAGO as well a the hotel and the large commercial centre. All of the other sites are being developed independantly and are not subject to the administration proceedure. |

Can you cut and paste that bit since if you mean roads outside the barriers it will be of great interest to me as I am not part of a community and we front on to a road which I understand the council will/have now adopted.

My earlier comments were only in relation to Fedesa elements; other developers are totally separate, however all utilities infrastructure, roads, and common land maintenance is part of the Fadesa portfolio. My point was that Rago 5 is highly unlikely to be separated out from Fadesa assets to sell. |

Of course they are not, (Tasa, Albatros, Vista Hermosa, Sun and Sea [gone], etc) but they all rely on Fadesa owned infrastructure. The council can only adopt if there is no satisfactory outcome from administration as it is still privately owned, and they have no influence other than reporting issues to administrators to maintain, which at the moment is not a priority for them. There is a cone sitting in a substantial hole in the road adjacent to Albatros for several weeks now.

This was reported in the newspapes at the time. So I assume that the grasscutters and the litterpickers who are no doubt contrators are now paid by the council.
John Have PM'd you in relation to the earlier post. Regards |

I don't doubt thats the case, but I would also believe that the administrators may be supporting the Authority in this role, rather than appointing an independent company.
