Just to clarify matters, regarding the charity bash on Saturday, I am not doing the catering, they had a kind offer from someone to do it all free of charge.

With regards to the registration with MF, I have heard a rumour today that they are extending the deadline by 20 days. When I hear something for certain I will post it on here.

Hi Jag,
Not been to your place (Yet).. but your reputation is growing... can you send me directions to your restuarant... we are out in November.
thanks, Brian

The best way to find Jags place is to walk up La Lotta street from the marina end, turn first left towards the bars and his place is about 20 yards up on the right hand side. Has an orange sign above the door (called Puerto Nuevo I think).

I strongly recomend his "Chicken Dansak", bit of a kick but real good. It is not on the menu, but he'll do it for you. Enjoy...

The Court as issued an Order extending the Deadline to the 25th October.

My understanding it is as a result of an application made by a group of Creditors.

Re: COSTA ESURI - AYAMONTE

At 12.13 Local time today MF filed Notication with the CNMV that for the second time it is postponing releasing their results. ( By Law due on the 1st September ).

They have set Oct 3rd as a new date. However they go on to state that these will not be complete as they will not include the independant valuation of assets as at 30 of June.

They don't give a credible reason at all but I suspect it may have something to do with the "bombs" found to date in the past valuations.

I have a copy of the filing should anyone want it and for the record "Bombs" is the word Fernando Martin uses to describe the problems found.

I have just been sent a copy of the actual court order so if anyone would like a copy pm me.

In a Nutshell the application was sought by ADICAE, the Banks, Building Societies and Insurance Consumers' Association of Spain.

It was made on the basis that those from or living in GB and Portugal and effected may not even know of the proceedings let alone the dealine and it was therefore nessessary that Notices be placed in their National Press and the deadline extended to ensure Natural Justice for all.

It was granted with various specific directions given.

Three cheers to ADICAE who I understand are now looking into provding a free advice line for the English !

Best

Congratulations on the Completion Gerry!

Hi,
Have used Auriga Crown on previous visits but two things have caused me to switch.
1.The queue is always the longest and it takes forever, unless you manage to get to the front.
2. On both occassions they gave me a lesser car than ordered and I only discovered this when getting to the car.....then back to the queue with everyone moaning as I "pushed in ". Issue was resolved each time but shouldn't have happened.

Couple of weeks back I did a search and decided to try Goldcar. They are off airport (about 300 mtrs) BUT the transfer was dead easy (pick you up by the information desk), the price was keener and best of all their office is on the main road. (heading towards Cordoba). It's very straightforward to turn round and head towards Ayamonte and returning the car is easier than going into the airport.

They fill your tank and if you take it back with half or even quarter, claim to give you back the cost of fuel. Mine was running on fumes so can't speak from experience.
