very busy most days, he even opened during the Bank holiday on Friday 10am until 3pm.

apart from filling the generator with diesel twice a day walking too the shop was all the excitement I got last week.

if it wasn't for airport security and pickpockets I wouldn't have a sex life either![/quote]

come on John think about it!

yes, seriously first thing in the morning and last thing at night.

the first one broke down, but we had a replacement delivered at 10pm.

quite a routine hardest work I've done in a long time!

El Terron: also the romeria of la Virgen de la Bella? Didn't romeria + nudism/naturism cause a bit of a stir locally? (I'll refrain from posting a link.)

A most horrendous thought has entered my mind as I post this - nudist golfers(!)

P.S.
Ray-Pauline, have you been unlucky (re: pickpockets)?

Returned on Sunday from another two great weeks at CE. Loads of golf, sunshine, food, drink & wonderful company.

I think other photos of the "Guadiana Market" (first shop in the small Commercial Center) may have already been posted, but here is another one. Should be a good view over the 14th Fairway as you enjoy a drink and a snack on the tables & chairs outside.

What’s the difference between a pick pocket and a peeping Tom?
A: A pick pocket snatches watches. A peeping Tom watches .......

Ive put books into the corner (which was in the corner in the 'members only' part of the bar). However, at the risk of sounding sexist, the books (in July) were 'girly-books' romance, holiday etc type novels. I think this is a great idea and more people should put their used books in there... Including perhaps a broader range.

If you found a sci-fi book or some thriller type of books they are probably my old ones.

No criticism intended but all you thriller, action, crime, sci fi, readers as well as you romance readers, go on stick yer books in! If I could find a way to get books from home to Spain, I would load it up with loads of books - ita a great idea

Regards
Jon

Pretty well. It has been moved to an obscure small table in the Member Area, by the door leading to the Terrace, but the collection is growing.

We met Derek and Margaret whilst we were there last week, and they and some others have contributed several books to the collection.

It would be better if he doesn't go during August. Islantilla is full of people, he will have to wait for a free table in all the restaurants and he will have to create a niche for himself among all the voyeurs with their binoculars.
