But not Mahatma Ghandi, surely he was a non-harmer?

Seriously, where is this restaurant?

Do you know what, I am in there rather a lot and friends with Jag and I can never remember if it is, and please excuse my spelling, Puerta Nueva.

Its on Bar Street just up from Lotitta Square and further along from the Theatre.

"Puerta Nueva" in the Medico Rey Garcia street. it's the same street where the theatre is, at least i think so. Someone said that some time ago.

Just downloaded the photos and the River is fantastic - would like to go further up and get a swim in the Lagoon!!!!!!

I did not know about the family that were on WifeSwap - there is a picture of their house/boat!!

Please can you tell me where the lagoon is, we are going out on the 4th September and will be doing some exploring along the river, not by boat just by car and walking. Cannot wait to try the indian food after all that has been written about it. Thanks Pam

Hi Pam

Don't really know where it is. It was FincaSteve that had mentioned when we were out on the boat last week. Have a look for in on the site and drop him an e-mail:eek:

I don't doubt the quality of the Indian place but with so many Indian restaurants around in the UK and Spain it's not exactly special is it:confused:
For someone to say it was the "highlight of their holiday" doesn't do much for the resort overall when strangers to the place read the thread. Or are you all after a discount;)

I understand what you are saying, but being an Brit living in Spain, it does make a nice change, now and again, from the Spanish cuisine. And there are not many Indian restaurants in this area, and the ones that are, the quality of the food is poor.

Agree with that, prefer an Indian anyday. Spanish food has deteriorated over the years (or I have been here too long!)
