Interesting comments about the poolside safety/access for people with disabilities. I have heard mentioned in the thread something about toilet blocks beside the pool areas. Can anyone confirm this?
The pics from BobD and Jean&John (posts #147 and #149) show 2 showers beside one of the Rago pools, and a concrete(?) splash area next to the pool (non-slip, I'm assuming/hoping). As for wheelchair access and slopes into the pools, are you meaning on-the-level paths or specialised entry points to the pool itself (like a hoist)?
Talking about pools, I was told that it can be the decision of the "comunidad de vecinos" to close the pools during siesta time (because of the noise.) Anybody else living on Manzana 4, Pueblo Andaluz? (or, may I swim in your pool? )

Has anyone else seen and have comments on these alternative doors?

Hi Nigel & Kim, and Cptnemo,
Like yourselves, I was a bit disappointed to see a change in the specifications. I did like, in particular, the white UPVC (maintenance issues) and the 8- paned glass doors. However, I am glad that Jean & John have seen (& taken photos) of the doors. The outside security grills (ie. pull down) and concertina doors (to the lounge) do appear to be made of metal (aluminium?) painted brown. The double doors opening inwards are not very practical when, for example, we want to leave the doors open, yet pull close a sheer curtain. Also, I wonder if it makes for less space (with doors open) to walk around the bed area? Ugh! I'll cross that bridge when I get there!
Regards,
Carol

Hi All,
Here is the golf course getting greener by the day.
The second picture is of the hill between the the motorway and Costa Esuri, What can I say, the rain has really brought the area on.
Enjoy

Hi Carol
Don't forget (I'm sure alot of people already know), the pool opening times are for the community to decide on, if it's like Canela it will be at the first meeting, for which apparantly the Spanish are usually well aware of and attend well as they know its importance. I'm sure it will be the same as Canela, you have to find out the date, get someone (friend, professional) to vote on your behalf on the issues to be discussed. If as on Canela, you don't get the details or translation before the meeting you just have to think about the things important to you, get your votes together and hope for the best.
I had heard that Playa Managering were dealing with all Esuri ? but you will be told who the management company is, then you contact them for details. The advantage of being majority British owned is that if you all get your votes in there should be no pool closures for Siesta
With regard to doors opening inwards, we have that and yes, it is pain in the sense of the curtains not being able to be drawn with the door open and also, boy do they slam shut sometimes (well in one of our bedrooms they do, invest in a rubber door stop) and in the lounge it does mean if space is a premium and the side table is at the end then the door can't be opened fully, personally we move the table slightly and it keeps the door from swinging shut!

We are buying in Manzana 2 facing the Golf course - and you can just see the grass coming through in the first pic. The second shows the "sheds" they are building near the pools and the last one, the progress on the pools and communal areas. I took some more inside - kitchen, bathroom tile colours etc. if you want them.

They are now not answering our E mails! How many others are having problems?

Re: Townhouse Pictures.
Hi all,
If you open 2 widows and put up Reg's first shot of the lake on Golf I and then alongside open Michael H's first shot of the same lake taken one week later from a slightly different viewpoint you will be "gobsmacked" by the change. The grass is growing at a phenomenal rate. This means barring accidents Esuri is now changed for ever no longer a bare brown shale hillside but a green oasis alongside the Guardiana.
Regards,
John.

Hi,
We own 2 plots, One on golf one and one on golf two. (Frontline). We also bought a 3 bed penthouse due for completion and in March 07, but need to sell this. We were at Costa Esuri two weeks ago and I have attached some pictures.

Hello Reg,
We was there a week ago to see our 2 bedroom house on manzana one, but we could not look inside the house as they said they had no keys.
which was a shame, so we looked in the window and saw the kitchen and the utility room, and got excited over that.
So to see your pictures was very nice.
Assuming the colours for the town houses are the same.

Re: Ayamonte - Costa Esuri - Part III
Many thanks for the recent photos of the golf course, pool areas, townhouses & apartments. The view out towards the river is indeed impressive! When the trees and grassy areas are established and the dust has settled, CE will be beautiful (it IS beautiful.)
I have no qualms with the exterior colour schemes of the different building styles (from what I can see in the photos.) I understand that the interior fittings are all the same: bathroom tiles (green and terracotta), terracotta floor tiles, kitchen units, etc. When I asked about the interior wall colour (yellow), I was told everyone would have the same colour. I figured it could be re-painted later on, if necessary.
I do feel disappointed with the loss of the patio doors, however. I'm not concerned with the new brown colour, but, rather, the inconvenience of the double doors. Even if Fadesa say "tough luck, it's too late", it might not be easy to change the doors back to brown patio doors (at my own expense) due to the rules of the "comunidad".
Perhaps I'll see things in a new light in the morning.
Buenas noches,
Carol
