Found the service very attentive, and were great with kids. The food was as good as Zoom or Air Canada. Legroom was a little short but with that much difference in price I think I would either put up...

Re: How many immigrated without visiting first?

We only visited after my husband had accepted a job and applied for WP. We bought a house during our 6 day factfinding mission. So we made our decision based on very little really. But we don't...

Re: Police Check Form

They look like the ones for people living in the London Met area. If you live there ignore the rest of this reply.

Re: PR from within canada - few more questions!

With regard to child custody I would just put a note in as you suggest. If they require anything else it'll be asked for later. Our kids are younger, but without a residence order(sounds like there...

Re: Relocating from Ireland, difficult situation

Its a tough decision. You'll need all the facts. Then you have to go with what feels right.

Re: Religion in Canada

Depends on where in the states I guess. We lived in Texas for 2 years. Nothing religious was allowed in public school. Christmas and easter even passed with barely a mention. Personally I'd have...

Re: family allowance

Hi Dsney
You should be able to claim the Canada Child Tax Benefit(CCTB) immediately. The benefit is means tested, but if you have earned less than about 100k CAD in the previous year you should get...
