I've been "in process" for over a month, so any day now would be awesome.
I'm not too worried though, just bored.

Re: CIC notification moral dilemma

On a couple of the groups someone from the CIC in London would post and answer questions so they do have a look.

re: Timeline For Spousal Sponsorship via London & Inland

So glad I've had someone who has been there every step of the way since the disaster of second IEC :) Hopefully it's not too long for either of us now.

It's rubbish eh? I hope it's not that long but if it is then it is. Nothing I can do about it. I've already lost my job (it wasn't the...

re: Timeline For Spousal Sponsorship via London & Inland

If they're getting to October then I hope mine shows some signs of movement this week. I'm trying to not let it bother me as it's out of my hands but my work permit ends this week and whilst I've...

re: Timeline For Spousal Sponsorship via London & Inland

Congrats apt2208 :)

Hopefully I'll see some movement soon, I'm not too worried even though my IEC runs out next week. Though it'd be nice to have it before my parents come in May. :fingerscrossed:

Re: Upon arrival how long will it take an immigration officer to generate a work perm

Re: Air Transat Up and up and up on one way flights

Re: Air Transat Up and up and up on one way flights

I've just booked to go back home at Christmas and Air Transat was the dearest by far and not even the dates I wanted. I think even BA is cheaper at the moment which is surprising.

Kinda sucks as...

Re: IEC to visitor conversion/extension

Oooh in that case I would have put 1998 and then 2012 (filled in so many CIC forms now that they all mix together). So yeah put original date and last entry, when I filled in PR I put 1998 and then a...

Re: IEC to visitor conversion/extension

I didn't ask for any period of time when I changed my status last year (IEC ran out whilst waiting for the new IEC program to open). There was no guarantee I would get a spot but the VO still gave...

Re: IEC 2013

Put whichever country you're from in the UK. Fill the wizard out as if you're back home but then when you get the forms obviously put Canada and the status you hold here.

Good luck.

Re: Implied Status IEC

I don't know why some people think they're above it all and can continue working on a work permit that's not extendible. Especially when the website that you first register on has a FAQ section...
