Depends how much stuff you have. We just filled a 20ft container from our 4 bedroom house but we sold off lots of stuff.

The shippers told us that it would be tight and it was.

I have had a number of recent dealings with HiFx including moving my UK account over to Sydney and some money transfers.

However, they really annoy me when they say that someone will call me back...

I had similar problems. In the end I transferred the money to my son's account in Australia and he arranged for the bank cheque from his account.
