I watched one of them relocation programmes the other day. Apparently Perth is Australia's windiest city. Average 16kmh/day.

....and it's half way along the Gentle Annie, a gorgeous road which I believe is fully sealed now.
Haze stayed there on het kiwi experience years ago, absolutely loved it.

The in laws...

Sis in law got residency today, and mother in law lands for a visit Wednesday.
We've got citizenship ceremony Monday, so at least the bloody women might be less miserable than usual next week. :p

We pay 5-7 bucks for bog standard handle of gold/tui/waikato, less in happy hour.
$7-8 for a bottle, and you can be out til the early hours pretty much every night here...
