It was more than the flight! Over £450 I think for the full 12 months (2003 - 4 price)...and as far as I know you don't have much choice over doing it through BUNAC. They pretty much insist on it...

When I did the BUNAC thingy before and did the group flight they included one night's accommodation in the price - which they arranged and in the case of Vancouver on the date I went it was in the HI...

Many thanks for the offer of help! :) I've done temp admin/office work for employment agencies in Vancouver before, in summer 2004 on a previous WHV. I don't have any IT qualifications...

They said that they send the first batch of work auth forms off to CHC early Jan and that processing can take up to 6 weeks.

Yeah it's a good point. If you were talking one end of the country to the other then flying is more comfortable for sure, but some journeys can be very enjoyable by bus. After finishing the winter...

BUNAC won't be sending the first batch of work auth forms off to the CHC until January anyway (it says that in the acceptance pack info). I won't be able to send mine to them till Jan either as...

I applied by post, mailed it Friday the 1st 1st class and got acceptance pack on Wednesday and membership thingy on Friday.

I'm heading to Vancouver, not going till October because I'm going back to work in Norway again next summer (May - Sept). I'm really looking forward to it, I really miss Van ;)
