Doesn't work that way. I had a friend in California some time ago who had won a gold at archery (women's). I used to play on the same darts team with her but it impressed nobody at all.

No,no. That's the Official Name. It's just the slovenly Canucks who've dropped the 'd'. And sometimes even the Ice too. Interestingly enough they still use the correct term for Iced Cappucino.

That's the impression I got from your first post. I thought it was a bit like the World Series where only American teams are invited to take part.
