That sort of thing may well be acceptable out there in "liberal" BC - but not here, not in these parts buddy! Shame on them!
They were smoking cigars. That is not very BC.

I agree with your sentiments about setting an example for younger athletes but that is not the way today in professional sport. There are few, if any, sports not tainted by athletes being exposed for taking drugs, excessive drinking, sexual activity, etc, etc, or a combination thereof.

I like you, hope that the other participating countries are able to improve the quality of the teams they field in the near future.

It would be too bad to have the sport dropped from Olympic competition after all it was only introduced in 1998.

Was it really that bad, I don't think so.

The arena was empty the only people around were a few press and the clean-up crews.

However I do feel your pain. The possibility of all that capital, poof gone.

The place was virtually deserted when this occurred.

It's not like it happened in front of 15,000 fans.

You'll still invite her over for dinner? She might bring her own cigar.

I want nothing more to do with these trollops! My wife and myself have our reputation to think of.

Look, they can hardly stand they're so sh!t-faced - as you said earlier, what sort of example is this for the kiddies?

All hyperbole aside, this is the worst display I ever seen in athletics, I for one won't be buying any Canadian Savings Bonds if this is the type of behavior it encourages, and I encourage you to all to do the same.

Just wait until after today's game: there'll probably be a photographer in the locker room taking pics of the men's frilly undergarments.
