Actually, going by the names of the league teams these guys play for, I think they were playing against a second U.S. team.

That's the impression I got from your first post. I thought it was a bit like the World Series where only American teams are invited to take part.

Isn't that why they invite a token Canadian team (Blue Jays) to play, so that they can say it's the "world" series....?

My wife works with their goal keepers mum, so I think we might make the effort.

Wow - now thats exciting.

Canada plays Finland on Monday at 5pm - should be a good game. The girls are damn good......
