That sounds as though there hasn't been any change then flamingo because as I understand it, that is the missing document that has prevented Endesa supplying meters all along.

Glynis, are you sure that the your application was actually accepted by Endesa? My understanding was that they wouldn't or couldn't accept any applications until this very recent development.

I too have had an application made on my behalf (for a meter) and although there's still no guarantee at least Endesa accepted the application which they have refused to do before!

What about having a clause included in the contract stating that the Builder is responsible for maintaining electricity to the property until such time that you have a legal connection in your name....
