The one who can do the job best. I've met total idiots with PhDs and absolute gems without a certificate to their name.

Generally, education is good. But it doesn't turn a twat into a useful human...

I think one of the main skills I got from my higher education was how to research properly. These days you don't even need to go down the library to do it.

I really don't get your "thing" with USCIS officers on the front line. I don't see any reason for them to be highly educated at all. As we have to pay a considerably higher salary to a more educated...
