It would be nice to provide mailing address at the point of entry because you will get the PR card sooner. I assume that is why Miller says that. And yes, they don't like PO Box addresses.

It is my understanding that if you qualify for Canadian citizenship, you should apply for citizenship, not a PR card.
When did you apply for the PR card? 1 800 255-4541 ...they should tell you how...

She is financialy responsible for him for the time appointed by immigration no matter what. She is responsible for his ~basic necessities~, so a trip to Hawaii is not included :)
