No I don' expect anything like that and I think I could get an offer/sponsor on my own. One of my fellow students has dual citizenship and went back to Australia, registered and got offered positions...

I got mine last year and too about 8 weeks. I remember reading that others got theirs in less than 6 back then, so I guess just luck of the draw. Things may have changed since then though.
