Half of my work experience was before and the other half after the date I actually got my degree. Neither the ACS nor DIAC seemed to have an issue with that.

Hi,
don't want to sound pessimistic, but I just got my visa, and was given only 8 weeks to validate - due to meds and pcc expiring at that point...

Heading to Perth. Going to validate only at the moment. Not sure when I'll be moving though. All depends on the economy...

Well, I assume the same day. It went from nothing straight to Visa - "applicant approved".

Funny though, all my docs still say "required".
But the status page says approved, I can read my visa...

Only got until Jun 6th to validate... my boss won't be happy to get a short notice vacation request first thing tomorrow....

not sure if this will help, but here is my "medical timeline"

Meds done: Jun 9th (Dr, X-ray and blood test)
Meds sent to Oz: Jun 16th (Dr emailed me courier tracking number)
Meds arrived in...

Looks like both of us lodged our 175 application on the same day :) (mind you, mine was lodged online).

I do check my status frequently (ok, maybe TOO frequently :o) at this...
