Thanks for the info all. We did look at the data that's how we found out how much there was.

The rain is one of the things that got us down in the UK. Planning outdoor stuff with the kids then...

You may think this an odd question, but we're thinking of moving to Halifax area and looked up how much rain it gets annually and apparently it's twice what London in the U.K gets.

Is this right? ...

We used HiFx. don't even think about using your bank, they just can't compete with the exchange rate.

We had no problems exchanging our money. You will have to register online with them...

We are due to move to the Calgary area in March and have two children. Our 10 year old daughter is finding it hard that we will be moving soon and is worried what Calgary will be like.

Oh great! Although my application was only received in NS 2 weeks ago, its still frustrating having to play the waiting game!
