When there is a howling sea breeze, you can always find a section of the beach where that breeze is off-shore, ie coming from behind...

You will enjoy a small town. Get to know the people there. Learn about the history etc of the area.

Explore. Get a camper and a 4wd and get out and about....

if your father had Australian citizenship, that is solid grounds for you to apply for yours and at least get yourselves out to Oz.
