Should Aus ban the Burqa?
#1
A woman claimed a policeman was racist and ripped off her Burqa when he stopped her about her P plates on her car. Unbeknown to the woman she was filmed from the cops car and that saved him his job cos he was able to prove she lied and he apparently never touched her burqa. She was taken to court, shown to be a liar and now she got off any fine cos there is no proof it was her cos she was covered.

I just find it ironic that those who have a problem with the attire tend to do so because they see it as an extreme behaviour to wear (or be made to wear) one and they want to address this by using an extreme policy by banning it.
Why not just have a policy that burqa-wearing women must unveil for identification purposes to the law?
