I think it does really depend on the area. I live in Wakefield, Nr Nelson and we always find lovely walks for our cocker spaniel.
Including Jimmy Lee Creek in Richmond, which is a lovely hill walk...

we used Parair in Stanway, Colchester, and it cost 3,700 for 3 cats and a cocker spaniel, including vets, boarding and all tests etc, they'll pick up for a price too. Hope that helps :-)

yes, the bakery is nice, so too is the Chateau Rhubarbe, a lovely place to catch up and have a coffee outside in the sun.

This is Wakefield, near Nelson. We've lived here for just 2 months after moving from Stoke, it has a really nice feel to the village and is lovely and quiet. I'll put some more pics on in a minute...
