I am just about to get my AEO - my employer was assured it will be approved in the next few days. Took forever to come through, applied for it in January!

It's not the case in Alberta - you don't have to have PR. I am here on a TWP and have a letter of authority which allows me to teach until I have my Alberta Teaching Certificate.
