If you're renting, get a letter from your current landlord before you leave the UK, it will make it easier to compete with locals for a place when you get here!

Hi Rebecca. It was a 457 business visa. They had said there was a three month processing time at the Perth office, but it went through a lot quicker than that. What are you applying for?

Perth *says* three months when you get the automated response, I was worried I'd be out of work here for another three months, but in the end I was lucky and it went through a lot quicker than that.

Woo, got to work this morning to discover: I've got a CO!!! More documents to send, then back to waiting.... Hope things are moving as quickly for other Marchies :)
