Thanks Rete, Passport lapses/losses are a definite consideration.

With the fees going up in such large increments we probably shouldn't leave it too long. I will take a look at the other thread...

We moved to CA over Easter just over 2 years ago. We actually flew Easter day (4th April) which I remember made the UK tax return quite straightforward!

The kids finished up the term in their UK...
