People don't assume Oz has a 28 hr clock but the free time that people will have will be spent better. Maybe going to the park or the beach, as opposed to sitting in the house with the rain pouring...

I think if we did the show and it was reality check time we wouldn't make the move, but a lot of people do go knowing financially they'll be worse off....

No, but you asked how you can tell if someone is drink driving, and without seeing them with a pint in their hand at the wheel, not being able to drive straight is one of the ways of knowing.

This is a good website www.myschool.edu.au I don't think you can compare one states schools to another, but if you've got schools in mind you can see how well they compare to the national average.
