Great, thanks for that, I'll definitely be getting that book when I get there....I could always ride my horse and he can ride his bike, keeps us both happy....although he may have trouble keeping up...

Wow, this sounds great! I've decided when I get to Melbourne that I'd love to get a bike and do some cycling....but have a bit of an aversion to cycling on busy roads. Think it'll be a great thing...

i feel exactly the same way....think it must be normal, is very true that it's an emotional rollercoaster.....have had highs, lows and everything in between in the lead up but now, with only 9 days...

am pretty sure you can only select seats when you book if you book through the singapore airlines website directly....if, like me, you've booked through a travel agent then you're only able to select...

Nope, you can get a stopover with Singapore Airlines too, I was told by the agent they were the only airline to allow a stopover with double baggage allowance (40kg), but didn't ask about Cathay so...

Ok so I called the travel agent today and she's put a note on our booking which will be on our paperwork that we take to the airport and we need to show this to the check in staff along with the visa...

Actually, that's not quite right. If you're flying with Singapore Airlines you can get the extra baggage allowance AND have a stopover, we are doing just this in March. However, this is the only...

Haven't flown in one yet, but our flight from London to Singapore at the end of March is on the A380 and I'm sooooo excited!! It's the novelty factor but I'm sure once I'm onboard and have fiddled...
