BTW, also went to the Carrefour in Cartaya and the pet shop there also has fish - probably a better selection than the pet shop in Tavira.

The pet shop in Tavira IS still there. It is opposite the Remax office behind the Tavira cinema/theatre. It is called Tetra and it does have fish (mostly small tropical) and aquaria.

Hi ant68, having a boat here in Portugal is great fun but not cheap.
I had a Quicksilver Commander 5 meter boat until last year when I sold it to Tavira Nautical who are on the EN125 on the left...

Yes there is. It is also very popular with locals and is busy at lunchtimes.
If you are a member of the IKEA FAMILY then many items are reduced or even free!

Hi, in 2005 we got ours fitted by Orlando A. Martins Guerra tel 968036976. They are based on the EN270 between Santa Catarina and Sao Bras. They cover Tavira.
We had 4 sliding screens for the patio...

A fair point but in Peters defence (a bit) if you have wifi you can connect lots of computers to it. 3 or 4 tablets (iPads or Androids) with the Filmon app will be cheaper than 1 x 50 inch plasma....

Also what you need to bear in mind is that the keyboard will be a Portuguese one.
