It was daunting at first, but I have to say everybody I met, from mobile phone shop to hospital staff without exception have been really friendly and helpful which has made it so much...

Yes, have done just that! I came out to Brisbane on 21st Sept and OH and son,10, stayed behind due to delays with the sale of his business, and are finally coming out on Dec 7th. I started work...

Hi, Smogmonster.
You've got it right. You need to have your skills assessed by the ANMC to be able to apply for the 175. This visa gives you maximum flexibility on where you live and who you work...

It was Occ Health. If she had refused the nurse would have had to have had up to six months of blood tests. Fortunately she didn't.

We lived in Poringland a few years ago, nice place.
We're not going until early next year, unfortunately, and it would have been good meeting someone who is also going to Brisbane. It's a shame...
