That rather depends on how you define minimal.
Current full pension is £221.20 and 10 years worth would be (10/35) £63.20. Or $76.50 a week.
(ignoring the possibility of making up added years)

I think you'd be right about using an out of date passport but I would suggest a genuine passport with it's design and security features might be of more use to someone less legally inclined. :nod:

A quick check for Disability benefit in Spain shows there is one, with a basic rate of half the UK lowest rate.
For wigs and fabric supports, there are organisations but not government help.
