Re: And prices down

The thing is I just hate it when people make such silly nonsensical statements, and then are surprised when they're challenged. So, no, I'm not picking fights or arguments, but trying to get others...

Re: What does a Canadian Real Estate Agent DO?

 I'm sorry, I know I shouldn't...but the image of someone that age selling real estate just has me in fits.

Re: New Realtor on Nova Scotia's North Shore

  Sounds just like my brother-in-law who "could have been a huge pop-star " instead of which he devoted himself to....wait for it....the civil service! Difficult choice, eh! That always...

Re: New Realtor on Nova Scotia's North Shore

When there's no wind at all, and it's a totally cloudless day, and there's absolutely nothing on the horizon, and it's hot enough to melt the tarmac on the roads, and you can fry an egg on the...

Re: What does a Canadian Real Estate Agent DO?

Re: What does a Canadian Real Estate Agent DO?

You're right - I do live in a small-ish town. Why is it assumed that some who works part-time in real estate has another job? Could be she prefers to have time at home with her young kids.....but...

Re: What does a Canadian Real Estate Agent DO?

Totally disgree - I don't see how you can say that a only a full time agent could stay on top of things! Nonsense. A person could work part time for any number of reasons; also it does not follow...

Re: What does a Canadian Real Estate Agent DO?

At the risk of having pearls thrown at me, why would you advocate full time agents rather than part time? Just interested.:)

In view of the two current threads concerning real estate commissions etc, I'd love to know how many of you, already living in Canada, have actually sold your house(s) yourselves.
Did you put a...

Re: What does a Canadian Real Estate Agent DO?

No, I don't much like being regarded as "swine", although they are extremely intelligent animals, so I'll not protest too loudly. However, I don't think Judy in Calgary/Italy meant it in a...
