Neither. I've been divorced in Australia and have an excellent grasp of what the law says. Divorce by its very nature isn't 'smooth sailing' but the law exists to protect both parties and children.

I'm sure they are low payers, no doubt. Why would you take a entry level developer job after giving up a job developing for iphones which paid double that then? It doesn't make much sense......

You can't skip the country anyway, Dad. Both parents need to give permission for children to leave the country when separated! You can't apply for a new passport without other parent...
