We keep olive oil for dipping our bread in or adding to dishes.
Coco oil? It's high in saturated fats!

Sunflower oil. High smoke pt, low sat fat.

Avoid any hydrogenated oil stuff (vegetable oils).

Got to say, I used to love butter on my toast but it wreaked havoc with my cholesterol levels.

But, consider this :

1) Is the "high" cholesterol level really that high?

and what if it doesn't matter because:

2) What if 'high' cholesterol was found in CVD patients because it was trying to repair the damage, not causing it?

Ok, I'll play the silly game... how does high cholesterol fix CVD?

I'm sincerely interested to know if high bad cholesterol can be a cure for anything. (I do miss my buttery toast breakfast.)

Hey, it's just a "silly game", ignore what I posed as food (ha!) for thought and enjoy your dry toast.

I though eggs had been taken off the "villain" list too, and you were allowed one a day. Same reason - yes they put up overall cholesterol, but mainly because they raise the "good" cholesterol.
