Lol. I didn't have a microwave for years then I got one and now I overly use it on a regular basis. I have been eating microwaved vegetables and rice for many years now. I suspect there are parts of me which glow in the dark.

I don't trust microwaves either.

And laptops melt testicles.

I remember doing physics experiments with microwaves at school - a microwave generator and detector sitting on the table. Microwave ovens hadn't been invented then so I learned all about polarisation but no cookery.

Woolworths corn on the cob is an exception.

Microwave pizza is another matter.

The only problem with butter is keeping it at a spreadable temperature - especially in this land of extremes

I have been using copious amounts! I guess a good time to stop.

One way is if you have fresh toast, whilst it is warm, spread it on and it does melt a bit.

without a doubt, butter is best and strangely, here in Australia it's cheaper than margarine. I want a temperature-controlled butter dish like this

Along with the chips cooked in lard, and real butter on your toast there's nothing like a suet pudding............. Full fat natural goodness.

I love suet pudding, but the ready prepared stuff isn't gluten free. I have to grate the fat that I get from the butcher, and then mix it with rice flour, and it is a pain to clean up afterwards. Needless to say I only make it at Christmas.

I use full fat milk, it hasn't affected my weight so much although I guess I gave up snacking a LOT
