As I understand it you can drive a PT car in UK but the same rule applies as in PT, 6 months is max and you must prove MOT insurance etc and keep proof if entry via Ferry or Tunnel.

thats news to me, we have PT registered vehicle, asked for insurance cover to take to UK on once occasion - no problem, neither did we have a problem in UK - car is covered under insurance, not...

yes I bring tea bags over in bulk! theirs is too weak and even the green tea is poor. Good toothpaste is expensive as is hair shampoo, hair spray etc. also stock up on that and Oxo!

I would add that I have phoned them on a UK mobile from Portugal, in the past with no problem. All they see is the +44 and mobile no. from what I know. They have now agreed to issue a new viewing...
