If I were you I wouldn't believe a word of any rumor related to...

Re: Can't apply for WHV online?

Re: TRA Sills assessment .... new rules, help needed please !

Hi

The first place I would look is the TRA website, especially at the new MAP requirements for overseas tradesmen: http://www.workplace.gov.au/workplace/Programmes/TRA/

Also i'd say it's worth...

Re: general caual labour

What skills/qualifications/experience do you have? A fellow tradie in Perth always comments on the amount of work available over there at the moment, skilled or unskilled. I can't see anyone having a...

Re: Moving from Australia to UK?

Re: DIY: Change oil for car

In all honesty for the price of that pump VS using a simple spanner to drop the sump plug out do you really think it's worth it? :)

Re: DIY: Change oil for car

One thing you should bare in mind is that at every oil change interval, usually every 5000kms there are a number of other checks you should be making in addition to just replacing the oil.

A lot...

Re: Car servicing intervals - why so short?

As people have already said there are services and there are services. I'm a mechanic (in Australia) and generally I always recommend a service every 10,000km or 6 months, whichever comes sooner. By...
