My husband is Sicilian and from Agrigento...our family all live there and my brother in law is a very reputable builder and yes some are cowboys but again I stress local recommendations and agree...

When we opened the account we were told if it isn't your account it doesn't get paid out and thats that.
We have been late twice before in 8 years and they never paid out(and that was smaller...

We live in Agrigento and also are sick of the assumptions that living in Sicily must mean we are in rags or need our heads testing.

Yes we can buy Heinz beans at our Conad in Agrigento.
They are stocked on the ethnic shelf along with Tabasco sauce,nasi goreng,Lea&Perrins and Uncle Bens rice ,though overpriced as...

Ah well,we are off to Catania next month to do a big christmas shop.
We are going to Etnapolis ,the huge mall and they have a Carrefour there-so will be stocking up :)

Hubby was born here and so we have all his family around(sometimes agood thing,sometimes not!).
We had been coming over on holidays every couple of years and a few years ago...
