I live in Toronto Canada, my brother is from Ecuador and has 5 year visitor Visa valid until this comming august 8th.

His visa to Canada is fine

Those are the big questions. All I know is that the processing time keeps increasing and they have been"reviewing" aplications received on june 24th 2003 for some months now. Check out this website...

After 4 years, they just give you an interview, while fake refugees just come here and get a work permit in days and a Permanent Residence in 2 years. Something is wrong with the system

Thanks a lot Andrew I checked the guide to sponsor parents and it has not been updated yet, It says call CIC.

It does not suprise me because processing of parents sponsorship has been stopped.
